On a whim, I took a quick trip over to the NBA Development League website and turned up some interesting players on NBDL rosters, including former Michigan State PG Mateen Cleaves (should have kept the beard), ex-Oregon standout Luke Jackson, and UNC’s highly touted Jawad Williams (maybe the victim of too much talent coming out of North Carolina around his time.)

Why I love and hate Last.fm
I use Last.fm almost entirely for its tracking capabilities. It tracks everything I have listened to since I joined a little under a year ago. It also makes up for Apple’s asinine way of determining what constitutes a “play”, counting a track as played at the halfway point. I cannot stand the small silences at the end of tracks and frequently fast forward.

I got a catalog from Weir’s Furniture, where I purchased a couch last summer, in the mail today. It was addressed to me, or the current resident of my apartment.
By addressing it like this, Weir’s admits a few things:

Just saw video of Fernando Tatis’ two grand slams in one inning from 1999, where he played on the same Cards team as Mark McGwire. Does anyone else find it impossible to see archival footage McGwire (or Bonds) and not think of the steroids absolutely pouring through their veins at that moment?
