Jamey Johnson - High Cost of Living (Live)

This track took me a little longer - had to pull it out of a podcast, but it might be one of the greatest individual modern steel performances there is. Jamey’s latest record That Lonesome Song drips Waylon and Merle (even including two Waylon covers), and this live, three-man performance of “High Cost of Living” almost derails, as it speeds up and slows down. “Cowboy” Eddie Long plays steel like none other. Incredible.
