two things about this:
1. I love how the writer makes it sound like the Animal Services workers blacked out and suddenly “found themselves rescuing the animals”.
2. I used to walk by this “shelter” every day, and I don’t know how it took so long to figure out that this was inhumane. You could smell the building and hear the howling animals from blocks away. If the Animal Services are looking for more puppy mills to take down, there is a smelly, barking building with No Trespassing signs all over it just down the street from my grandpa’s house in Pecan Gap, Texas.
