I saw Jimmy Eat World at the Granada Theater last night. Interesting band, in how well they have aged and how their music still stands the test of time. While watching Jim Adkins, I started thinking about the whole “emo” thing they used to have to shake, and realized that most of that title came from the fact that he really means what he sings. They played a great mix of old and new, with a few tunes from their next album, due October 16th (my sister’s birthday). Pictures forthcoming.
